Biography

D

avid J. Yacus is one of today’s leading protagonists of historical brass instruments and performance practice. His interests span and reach beyond the entire panorama of Western Art Music. Understanding and interpreting music in its historical, social, and esthetic contexts, together with a curiosity to explore new territory are fundamental points of his approach both as a performer and as an educator.
